French Outdoor Awards (FOA)
With the French Outdoor Awards (FOA), OSV recognizes the most innovative French products and services in the outdoor sector. Finalists and winners are highlighted throughout the year at national and international trade shows. They also receive significant media exposure thanks to numerous media partnerships and a European press relations campaign.
1 call for applications per year, a jury of experts: a simple and proven system
Four awards will be given: the Innovation Award (overall), Sustainability Award, Startup Award, and Digital Award
Selected by a jury of experts : this jury, composed of engineers, distributors, athletes, and specialized media, evaluates the best products based on criteria such as usability, quality, functionality, and durability. They must represent a significant innovation compared to existing products on the market.
One recruitment session throughout the year, aligned with the seasonality of your products or services, allowing you to refine your go-to-market strategy.
Here are the products and services selected for the “French Outdoor Awards 2025” promotion:
- Skiif :The Ultimate Ski GPS, the 1st collaborative navigation application for skiing.

- Julbo : Hailot is a freeride ski helmet that retains all essential features while offering a lightweight, ventilated, and compact structure.
- Villacampa – Pyrénées : Core+volution uses a new bio-based material and a unique 3D printing process to create lightweight, high-performance cores for snow sports gear.
- Kanyon : The Jerky Poulet Thaï is a French meat-based nutritional source for sports.
- Beal : Sunrise – Sunup is the world’s first climbing rope made from recycled tires.
- Snap : Air Shock 1, the ideal inflatable crash pad for isolated climbing spots.
- Bollé : X-Fusion Mips breaks the mould with a complete integration and harmony between the visor and the helmet.
- Circle : Supernatural Runner, the running shoe made in Europe from 75% bio-sourced materials such as wool and wood fibre.
- YY Vertical : SandwichBase is the new climbing training board support that will allow you to practice at home in complete safety.
French Outdoor Awards 2025: Timeline
- June 15 to September 15: Call for applications
- September 16-18: Selection of candidates
- October 10: Exhibition during OSV Explore at Sidas
- December 3-5, 2024: Exhibition + company pitch + jury deliberation at ISPO 2024
- January 29, 2025: Invitation of winners to a “Retail Tour” + a French award ceremony at Sport Achat 2025.

AN EXPERT JURY SPECIALIZED IN THE OUTDOOR SECTOR
The candidate products are monitored and/or tested throughout the year and will be thoroughly reviewed and analyzed by this expert jury during ISPO 2024 to select the winners. These innovations will be evaluated based on a range of very specific criteria (eco-responsibility, usability, novelty, etc.). The jury consists of:
